So I've decided that my time has come. I've received a million of these "about me" quiz lists and have yet to fill one out. I'm using a list compiled from multiple lists by my friend Melanie. Thanks, friend. And as I told her, I'm the one most frequently named as the least likely to respond. So consider this my response and I encourage all of you to accept the tag and do this yourself. One of my biggest problems with most of these lists is that I'm the girl with so many favorites that they can't even be considered favorites anymore...I'm the girl with no favorites. I love everything. Maybe this should be a list of things I don't like. That might make it easier. This list seems pretty do-able, though, so here goes:
A Few Jobs I've Had: I've had a lot...
Snowbird-Housekeeper
Macey's: Bagger(... and in my days of shame, I agreed to dress up as a pumpkin around this time of year to hand out candy. What was I thinking? I will tell that story later. It's humiliating, but so funny. )
Nordstrom: Womens shoes sales
Convergys/American Express: phone resolicitation...queen of phone sales-for real.
University Hospital: OB/GYN Research Assistant
RST and Associates:Fitness/Wellness Specialist
Alta Club: Fitness Director (current)
Banana Republic (current)
...just to name a few. Thats just the tip of the iceberg.
Guilty pleasures:
-The Apple pie carameled apple from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory...wow...if you've never, you should.
-Raspberry Almond Torte from Market Street Broiler...again, WOW. I dream about this dessert.
-Massages-who doesn't love em.
-Dance classes-I do consider this treating myself.
-Walnut Shrimp from Asian Star...like eating candy.
...I'm sure there are a million more, but moving on...
Places I have lived:
Indiana
Utah
California
Shows I enjoy:
The Office
Flight of the Conchords
Arrested Development
So You Think You Can Dance
Dancing with the Stars
What were the things I thought of when I first saw my husband?
Have any of you seen him? Cause I haven't. I've read about him in Twilight, but have yet to see him. ;) Please let me know-I've been looking everywhere. Kidding. Still single and living the life. I'll be honest and say I'm kind of terrified of marriage...so I'll just enjoy this life while I can. ;)
Some of the Places I have been on Vacation:
Washington DC
North Carolina
Colorado
Canada
Costa Rica
West Yellowstone
Vegas
Tahoe
Florida
Lake Powell
etc..
Favorite foods:
Cold Cereal
Fruit
Popcorn with Hot Tamales
Ummm, I love food.....can't really answer this one.
Do like Fresh Mex grill stuff. Soups. Sandwiches. Thai. Yeah...I give....can't answer this one.
Websites I visit daily:
All blogs I have linked pretty much
Email
Bank
Body parts I have injured:
Hip Flexors: Dance
Hamstring tear: Dance
Knees: Dance and skiing...I snowboard, don't ski...thus the injury. (Dance isn't lookin so good in this line-up, is it?! )
Low back: car accidents (2) and wakeboarding
Hit in the head with a croquet mallet when I was 5. (I know what you're thinking. Don't say it. )
Stitches in my chin from slipping on the sidewalk.
Nicknames I have had:
Sari Lou
Sare-Bear
Say Say
Pickle
Shugi pants
Love cuddle
Muffin bum (not from any physical traits...I hope. The last three are a result of slap happy girls. You're welcome to start using them.)
A guy in my ward regularly calls my Liz or Lindsey or Heather. I don't bother correcting him so they're kind of becoming nicknames, I guess.
Movies I Never Stop Watching...
If I never stopped watching I'd be considered extremely lazy, but here are a few I like....
Waiting for Guffman
How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days
The Holiday
Finding Neverland
The Bourne Identity
Stranger than Fiction
Airplane
Pride and Prejudice
....the list goes on and on...I love movies!
Biggest Pet Peeves
-A million empty stalls in the bathroom and someone comes into the one right next to you. Hate it!
-When traffic is merging in one lane because another lane is closed and you have those people that think they're royalty, so they drive to the front of the line and sneak their way in.
-Your roommate eating your grilled panini sandwich that you were really anxious to try when you got home from work...Look in the fridge...and gone. Umm, yeah. That one just happened last night. Still harboring some feelings about it. ;)
-Toenail clippings as already discussed in another posting.
-This might not fall into this category, but....I hate when my hands, or hair, or clothes smell like food. I don't like it on other people either. It's when there is no food around to smell like that it bothers me. You with me? Not a pet peeve, but I still don't like it.
Places I Would Rather Be...
In the warm sun...anywhere.
I love beaches
I love water...rivers, lakes, oceans, love waterfalls. Something so peaceful about water.
Love being in the mountains.
I'd like to go to Europe next year. Switzerland, Italy, Greece. Or Thailand. (I know thats not in Europe.)
The gym
With my family and friends
My bed
People think I lack an opinion on many fronts, but I feel like I have an opinion when it matters. I do know that my favorite color is Green. I know that I love watching movies and snuggling-in general. I know that I love adventures and discovering/rediscovering beautiful places. I love laughing so hard I can't catch my breath. I love music....in many varieties. I love to listen to it and I love to learn to play it on my guitar. (I'm not good, but I love it.) I love getting my hands dirty with projects. I love learning how to do things like household fix it stuff or yard care stuff. I love the satisfaction of making something look or feel better...translates across the board to many things. I love autumn. I love running outside to good music. I love dance. I love kids...especially my nieces and nephews. I love meeting people. I love to play games. I love shopping under a few conditions... reasonable amounts of time, money to spend, know what I'm looking for...these are all nice. There you have it. I have a ton of other loves, but I need to go. If you are reading this, you're on my love list. ;) have a great day.

I laughed out loud at the "have you seen my husband?" part and I'm so with you on the royalty drivers thing! And your guilty pleasures list are all things I've never tried, but sound to die for! I love learning little tidbits like this about people. I'm glad I could inspire you to finally make your list! ;) Haha.
Sure hope I'm at the top of that love list. ( : This post made me laugh out loud. Can't believe that you didn't list "love playing air guitar with a broom" or "love lip synching to Ria Ria Chiau" or anything like that...but what you did list was priceless. Love you!
You know and love the raspberry almond tarte from Market Street too?????!!!!! Oh heavens that is mucho yummy and another amen to the walnut shrimp. Me likey.
If anybody reading Sarahs blog has seen my husband too... let him know I am looking for him...
Loved your list and well, love you too!
I loved reading about you Suggie Pants! Can you believe I'm leaving one of these comments? I'm getting better aren't I? You're darling and I love you tons. I know I don't even have to ask if I'm above Kris on the love list . . . I'll let you break the news to her. ;)
Sari-lou,
I love you! You are hilarious. I kept laughing out loud and Jonathan would keep asking me,"what?" My answer: "still reading Sarah's blog." I think you forgot about your love of Ratigan. Man, I miss him.
