I recently picked up a second job at Banana Republic, which I love so far. Granted I've only done the training and worked one night, but still. ;) I told them that I was available on weeknights and Saturdays. I figured before I plunged into my new schedule, I'd take one last fun trip of the summer to Burley to visit my friend Cortney (aka "Cort Cort"). I love this girl! We lived together for a couple years and have remained great friends ever since. She lives in Burley with her husband Brandon and they have this awesome life together...almost surreal it seems so perfect. She is so happy and I love that. I went up on Friday afternoon and left Saturday night. Quick trip, but we packed it in. We had such a good time.

We planned to go horseback riding on Saturday morning, so we took their Rhino (4 wheeler with
rollbars and bucket seats with a small bed...hard to explain) over to their indoor arena where they keep the horse trailer. We packed
the little Rhino with the saddles, harnesses, etc. and were ready to head back when I thought to ask what this big brown house was. She told me it was a whore house/bar once upon a time. According to Brandon, the house was built around the early 1900's. Seriously...we are talkin perfect haunted house of all time. I was super curious, so Cort and I climbed in through a shattered window that looks into one of the front rooms and started the tour. I've included some pics. Cort and I were having a lot of fun with this photo shoot. So much fun that Cort decided to dress me up as a full on cowgirl, with her chaps and all. So, after the whore house we rode down to the fairgroun
After our horse race, we headed over to the Snake River for some

How cool is that whore house? I love the bar area ... and your chaps! Looks like a fun trip!
Hey there pretty lady, you do look like a true cowgirl if I do say so myself. Nice pics - & impressive wakeboard skills. I love that you have ties to Burley again...it's full of a lot of old memories for me (none of which ever included an old whore house - thankfully). ( : Love you! Glad you had such a great time w/ Cort Cort.
