Obsession

So, should I be embarrassed that I'm in love with a vampire and find myself completely obsessed with these books? Probably, but I'm not. The only problem is that these shockingly beautiful, attentive, sensitive, patient, adoring, perfect men/vampires that the author describes in such detail don't exist...so coming back to reality after reading is less than satisfying. (As I'm saying this, I'm reminded that I'm talking about a vampire. I raise my brow at myself questioning my sanity, but decide that my little escape to Forks, Washington is worth every rolled eye out there.) If you haven't read these, you need to read them. Not to be confused with Megan Cabots book called Twilight. My sister made that mistake when I told her to check out the first book. I asked her where she was in the story and after she told me that the dad had just died and the main character was about 5 or 6 I was sure we weren't talking about the same book. Glad we figured out the mix up early on or she would've been extremely confused when none of the vampires showed up. I finished these books a couple weeks ago, and I gotta say, it's hard to find a series to replace them. I'm currently occupying my free time with Confessions of a Shopaholic. Pretty funny, so far. I'll let you know if it's worth the read.

Maybe you should specify that it was your sister Angela with the book mishap. ( : Kidding Ang...I'm sure that other Twilight book is bound to be just as great, even without the sensitive, loving, attractive male vampire.

I really need to get on the stick and read this series already! I've heard too much about it to not read it at this point.

Oh how I love Edward! I am in the middle of New Moon and yes, my world is the book. Word of advice to those who will embark on this fantastic reading adventure. Cancel everything else in your life for a week or whatever because you will find your self not caring at all about what else could be going on in real life.
I heart these books. and I heart You miss virginia oak!
