June 26th- Birthdays tend to get more and more anti-climactic as time goes on. But I actually like getting older. I don't always love the side affects of aging, but I don't mind the number increase. I had a great birthday this year. A few of my friends took me to a Bees game and insisted that I eat a chicago dog as part of my baseball experience. Yummy. I'm not gonna
lie, I like a hot dog from time to time.... And then the garbage gut sets in and I remember why I don't eat stuff like that very often. :\ We played the River Cats and won. I'm sure they were feeling lucky because it was my birthday. In the course of the evening at the game, my friend Ethan was nice enough to call the Bee mascot over to make an embarrassing scene about my birthday. He sat on my lap and led our section in the birthday song for me. Good times. It was funny and extremely mem
orable. (Picture on the left: don't ask me what Joey and Jared are doing-those crazies- then it's me, Ryan, Leslie, and Ally...Sara, Ethan, Chris, and Holly not shown, but were also in attendance.) Ally and Leslie
made me a cake which was so nice of them. They lit 28 candles and for the first time in my life (I think it's the first time) I didn't blow them all out in one breath. So much for that wish I made. Doesn't matter...wouldn't have want
ed it anyway. Seriously. But look at the force at which I'm blowing. I thought my lungs were going to collapse. It was actually pretty weak, but oh well. ;) It was a great day. Thanks for all of your calls. I miss having my family around.

Did they have a fire extinguisher on hand? Kidding. I'll bet they all thanked you for pulling your hair back - could've been awkward pulling a long long curly hair off their piece of cake...unless, of course, they needed a bit of floss.
